What you’ll learn in your Justice, Diversity, and Gender Studies program

How does SAU support Justice, Diversity, and Gender Studies students?

The faculty of the JDG program are involved in a range of activities on campus and in the community. Faculty advise PRISM (the club on campus for LGBTQIA+ students and allies) and are involved locally in advocating for justice for LGBTQIA people in our community. They are also involved in various initiatives related to racial justice on campus and in the community. This includes faculty members that are on the board of various community organizations, including Safer Foundation. The program director advises the women's studies honors society, Triota.
