SAU's BA in International Studies creates an environment of open communication and discussion to help students better understand the world around them. This knowledge will create leaders for a better future.
International Studies majors have opportunities to gain first-hand experiences from local organizations.
Add a major in Political Science or Communication and complete both degrees within four years.
Find a career in diplomacy, intelligence, international business, communication, education and government.
Learn about global politics, economics, cultures and societies. Explore interactions between nations. Gain insights into global issues such as diplomacy, human rights, development, and conflict resolution through interdisciplinary coursework.

The department hosts a short-term study abroad led by faculty and is involved in the Annual QC World Cultures Festival. The Model UN group is highly recommended for International Studies majors and participates in National Model UN Conferences.
